Ol Bessie is finally back

Yep the Ol girl finally arrived back home at # and damn since I put the new intake manifold and finally put in the top end rebuild and my new shorty headers holy hell the Ol girl sounds like a beast again she's even louder than Black Betty but damn there was one hell of a carbon buildup was smoking for a solid 15 minutes. The kicker is she's been in the barn long enough for mint ta grow all over the bed.

Thanks buddy, valves are shot and the heads are getting replaced before I do the valves then caming the Ol girl out when all is said and done. Sounds like a damn tank now with them shorty headers

Be aware you're adding stress to the lower end... But I love it when we take things people would say are shot and gone for good, and bring them back to life!

That's why ima build er from the cam up. This Ol girl's been a strong work/race truck that definitely earned a rebuild although Prolly gonna be smarter to just do a full engine tare down ND rebuild. But yer absolutely right it's a thrill proving them folks wrong.
