Bad storm knocked out modem Tuesday, had no internet access.

So yeah, nasty storm once more took out our modem. A few days of no TV, no phone and no internet. >_>
We just got a new one today and just set it up and everything seems fine.
For the record I have suggested to my parents that we should invest in a legit surge protector for the modem so as to lessen the chance of this happening again.
So that is what has been going on. >_>

At least I am back up and going.
id also look into getting a uninterruptible power source if you have a desktop computer
I guess there was still other stuff you could do in the meantime though?
And they both fully support English and have the JP and US editions of each game.
Snake Pass is gonna have a physical limited print release for Switch soon, like 4000 copies so I doubt I'll get it, but I'm glad it's getting something.
Rio 1 was alright, I liked how colorful it was, and the villain. Never watched the second one.
If I can find one I may buy, if not no big deal. Second playthrough of the game was fun, but not as great as the first time.
Rio 2 is okay.
The collection itself seems really like though, like the gallery extras and artwork.
Wanna torment yourself by fighting Double and Iris at the same time? You can now.
It's exclusively from one online retailer and with a "once it's gone it's gone" stock window, so it's not something you're gonna find.
But yeah, I'm more interested in a sequel to Snake Pass than buying the same game again.
That's a rather interesting challenge.
Ahh, okay then.
I'm more interested in a physical version of Hollow Knight. That game is too good for JUST $15.
Both of the collections have a challenge mode which pits you against two bosses at the same time yet, I haven't tried it yet but it sounds good.
It doesn't include X7 or X8 since they're not 2D. but it also has a new armor for X.
Yeah, and Hollow Knight is getting its final expansion soon. I would really like to get a physical release of that too.
With the current trend of prominent Switch indies getting retail or limited run releases, I would hope it does.
Kind of like Rockman 2 Neta, that fangame where you fight all of the RM2 robot masters all at once.
Yep, the 23rd, I cannot wait~
Hopefully so, I will happily toss more money at Team Cherry. =3
And even now I still haven't started Celeste, but so much backlog...
I did a run of Celeste recently, did better than my previous run, I was astonished by some levels small death counts. =O
Sounds like a tough but fair challenge.
Also. :O

That's how Celeste is for sure. =3
Well, that is something I will definitely buy and not open~
Indeed, I know you absolutely love those sorts of games, An Untitled Story, IWBTG, Super Meat Boy, The End is Nigh, etc.
I think I'll be picking it up for sure~
Although I'm not afraid to open these physical games, sometimes they come in wrapping that's clearly not the original factory seal.
Yep, they are pretty fun. =3
Well one way or another I know I want one. =3
They're not necessarily for me, but I can see where Celeste may be different so I want to give it a shot.
Indeed, and I've indulged in quite a few physical Switch games lately, I'm loving the selection.
I understand that of course. Celeste's main game is hard but fair, the post game on the other hand is where it starts getting mean. =P
It is quite nice. =3 I still only have 4 physical games on the Switch. =P
Yeah, all of the side-challenges and such.
My physical collection has grown quite large already, I'm pretty sure I have more Switch games than I do Wii U games already.
And there are some pretty hard post game challenges.
I do still have more Wii U game, but the quality of the Switch games is better. =P
I can imagine.
Undoubtedly, and them being on small fast loading cartridges is much, much better.
The load times for Wii U were a huge turn-off, it took forever to just get into the game.
Also been playing that Hollow Knight expansion they put out. One thing in it may have crossed the line in being too hard for me. >_>
Ah I see, and it's already a pretty notoriously hard game.
Yeah, simply put it's a boss rush, a LONG ONE!
Ahh, so it really whittles you down, I guess it's a matter of REALLY learning the patterns?
Yeah, but there is also the stress factor. 42 boss fights takes even good players 40-60 minutes to get through. So imagine getting to the 29th boss like I have and dying, it's a little soul crushing.
Granted you get a full heal every 5 bosses, but that doesn't prevent some bosses being fairly hard, especially the final 3 bosses of the boss rush.
Even Kirby with True Arena doesn't make you do the repeat versions of boss fights, just the hardest versions of each.
