Az is znoozing, but he's going to be stoked when I tell him what I found! Weird how this happened almost after our post about the subject eh? Almost as if we had something to do with it...*wink wink*

Yep! Spyro's been delayed to November! I know, I know, it sucks when a game gets delayed, but hey, it's just a few months. And look at it this way, Toys for Bob is REALLY showing their dedication to get this stuff all done, and Activision putting a chain on them to get done and out before they even get things finished was harsh. Now, though, it seems they're getting a bit more slack. Which is cool, according to some, Spyro won't have as much competition in November, and they won't suffer any degrading because of time. Dragons are popular, especially this one ha ha!
But, what this also could mean is that all three of the games may go on one disc (or multiples, depending), after all. While some, like IGN, say that there may still be a download thing of some sort (though this may extend to DLC), this delay in release date certainly gives the option that that particular problem may not matter anymore, and everybody can get what they want!
Oh, I so wanna give him the good news, but he needs to sleep....oh well, I need to sleep too, I just hyped for this and now that....I have....done...that I......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'm up! I'm up! ok....logging out. Later all!

Yes, I know it's harsh, but this is my realistic prediction.
Delays are necessary when needed, rushing out a game that’s not completely finished is not a good idea, because if that negatively affects the gameplay, it will get hit with negative reviews and will actually kill the game. Good things come to those who wait *is staring at kingdom hearts 3*
Spyro will have a market, they just need to make sure to put money into advertising, if they dont start advertising in October then it could have problems, but as long as it is kept relevant and promoted, Spyro should find success.
That’s how i see it myself, but who knows only time will tell
Kingdom and Spyro aren't even in the same league. Kingdom has a solid frame already built. It will do well no matter what. Spyro had the skyladanders fiasco. Kill it reputation. It can't avoid to miss a deadline or push the date of release back.
Spyro has a small market. Which is slowly dwindling due to being pushed back another two month. It loosing to the other big name titles. Doesn't matter if it advertise well, when Pokemon is their competion. They might as well push it back to January. After the Pokemon. And SSB craze dies down a little.
If the extra time is to ensure completion and functionality, then it will only help sales, reignited is a game that popular youtubers won’t ignore and keep the game in the spotlight, even if it is to be shared, the delay is likely necessary and for the best. Pokemon can only take so much, but again being more spin offish sort of console looking version of pokemon go, its not going to create as much obsession as the core games do, it will sell but not like core games do, i for one not too interested in lets go, smash and Spyro yes but Spyro will be my preferred.
As for the whole 1 game being on Disc instead of all three, people need to get over it. It how games are done these day. You get the first or base game, the rest has to be download. Cheaper on the manufacturering cost. 8 GB cartridge/disk won't cost as much as a 16GB or 32GB.
Your over estimating Spyro. Again, don't forget Skylanders the game and show. Kinda feels like Sega's Sonic (only not as bad). Unless something happens or the sales prove me wrong (which could easily happen), I'll keep a realistic view point.
The deal with the all on one disc is more why make a physical version if you are only going to release the majority of the content as digital might as well go all the way and save even more money by not making discs at all. People like physical copies for reasons of having nice box art to admire, convenience of not having to burn up bandwidth or some cases data limit to download large game files, if it’s all on the disc then it just skips downloading and goes straight to installing, easier for people with slow or limited downloads. Others enjoy having a collection build up to set up on shelves or such. Many reasons why people still want physical copies, but if two thirds are download only then why bother with the physical at all?
