what got you on fa? the start of your interest in the art and things?

Well, I've always liked anthropomorphic animals, especially big cats and bulls. I'm also into muscle growth and macro fetishes. So naturally I stumbled upon FA while web browsing for such artwork.

Was a bit anxious at first to actually join, as I'm not really into porn (and still kinda not). But seeing the work here and reevaluating my interests, I decided why not. I used to be on deviantART under bluebomberman and later ZYL5. But as of a few years ago, the site hasn't been... welcoming. So now I am mostly active here and on twitter.

What got me into art goes back to kindergarden at the earliest. I always liked drawing even back then. I didn't start focusing on it until I graduated from high school in 2005 and didn't really get into art until around the time I joined FA. For the fetishes, well you probably can guess that I was one of the many who were influenced by comics, SatAM cartoons, video games and the like.

sounds like you found a much better artistic community here than on da. it's roughly the same for me in regards to finding fa, and even having a da, which now has kinda died for me since the community there tends to be a bit hostile. and fetishes, it sounds like a common thing for those to be the source of some interest in certain things. i sometimes wonder if the original creators were into that, consciously or subconsciously :x

Since you mentioned it above. How has this place been compared to DA?

Amusingly enough, in spite of what people say about FA, I find that the experience here is tons better than dA.

The staff here might not be the most competent but at least they show some interest in the site and the community.
dA as of late has really degraded in just about all aspects imaginable. It really feels like a corporation run place as far as the staff interaction with the userbase goes (and it shows). You see inappropriate content and underage kids posting nudes/genitals of themselves all the time. And worse is that weirdos are constantly white-knighting them, and in-spite of having hundreds of valid reports, the mods absolutely refuse to nuke it. They also take forever to act on DMCA related infractions despite their claims of having 'exemplary' service with handling art theft. And many of the recent events, changes, and features seem more like a obvious cash grab and/or popular artist shill attempt than an actual community gig.

As far as community goes, I find myself talking to people much more often here than dA. My works are strangely far more likely to get more hits even in spite of being on dA far longer (2004). I have only 29 watchers on dA and 14k pageviews, almost none really interact with my stuff or with me. Here I have nearly 5 times the followers (157) . And I've only been here since 2011. There's also a lot more jerks there, if you recall from that little incident with asking about if I'm ready to start taking commissions was any indication.

In short, people who made ragequit journals leaving for dA make me laugh; It's faaar worse there. I would sooner use twitter over dA nowadays as far as publishing my works goes.

Hehe well I am happy that FA ended up being the better experience for you. Just gives us all more beefy goodness to enjoy here on FA and another friend for me as well of course :)

Do you like orcs like the ones you draw as much as your tiger character?

Yes, I even have orc OCs meant to coexist in the same setting as him.
