The wandering heroes return!

Huzzahs a-many, we're back!
And indeed, successfully so~ So, what to tell you guys? The car was certainly cosy on the ride down and back even more so, but we're home, so, y'know, all's well~
We got to the foster home and we were given a couple rules of what to expect about meeting the dogs first time onward and that we'd be labelled pretty much stranger danger immediately and that it would be quicker turn around than imagined, so yeah, immediately we were welcomed by LOTS of barking at us, but it was like an invisible line that we crossed once we got welcomed inside that they just instantly went quiet after we had entered
So, initial security check of sorts passed, the dogs were just fairly quiet, a little inquisitve, sneaking up to sniff at us, but that aside they kind of made themselves clear, Wally was happy to just curl up wherever he pleased, but Masha was a lot more withdrawn, overall we were just encouraged to try and be at ease there and take our time to get closer to them
Things there are hard to tell you much on, however, since then?
We returned and its certainly been eventful!
First night alone was interesting, we quickly learned that neither Rascal's old toys or the new ones we'd got were any use to Masha or Wally, since they've never played with toys before, they just don't get the appeal, like, we were trying for an hour with all sorts of toys, squeaky, bright or bouncy, nothing sadly worked the trick
So, yeah, that felt sad on a couple of levels thinking about all the things they missed out on - like, you know, the essential dog things in life like head out a window with tongues out? - but, I guess it's a work in progress
Then there was the dogs themselves and their lodgings, we'd been kind of coached by the lady at the foster home to try and keep them as outside dogs, but, nope, one night of them in their cage and we just couldn't have the heart to ignore the cries they were making, so, we'd given in and just let them loose around the house, Rascal had full run of the place, so we decided in the end just to let these two have their run too =B
Glad to say that things went well with them and Managan, BUT NOW I'm struggling to think what to type, so much in so few days has happened, I'll share more soon when I hve time to tap~
