Wow. I have to say the event was something else...

And I really enjoyed it. They promised a spectacle and they delivered. I was incredibly surprised to see Scarce there LOL. I realise this is falling on deaf ears and is a strange journal to make, but I really wanted to air my thoughts on it as someone who boxes as a hobby!

As someone who originally disliked both Logan and JJ similarly I rooted for no one. But finding out more about KSI and after watching a video on Logan made by 'Mouthy Buddha' I gradually changed my mind on things.

I found KSI to be more malicious and toxic compared to Logan who in comparison is just an annoying, immature nuisance. Not to mention disrespectful. But some of the shit KSI had done such as mocking depression in his last fight and harassing random ass people at a convention just seems a tad overboard. Eventually all of this had me low-key rooting for Logan.

And boy howdy was I impressed considering how little time he had to train. Before his lack of stamina caught up him he looked astonishing in round one and two. Really dominating with his hand and reach. KSI on the others looked ridiculous. Clearly having been made angry by the mockery Logan made of him in the first rounds, he just started throwing wild haymakers. (He had some slick looking weaving near the end of the match though.) And really I'm happy with the draw outcome but would have personally given it to Logan only JUST. KSI had better conditioning and it really showed cus his lack of technique worked especially well against someone who was hardly standing anymore and had thoroughly gassed!! Real exciting shit.

It was a little disappointing to see KSI reduce himself to brawling after having longer to train compared to Logan. But it seemed any training he did went out the window after he faced some real competition. Respect to them both. (Though I must say they both got a little underhanded. KSI in particular kept trying to drag Logan into his lunches or wrestle him to the floor. Not to mention the moment he hit Logan AFTER the round ended. Logan did also shove KSI nearly out of the ring by the neck one time but really KSI was doing dodgy shit far more and I wish both had been penalised accordingly.)
