i still like FA

is it weird that i still like using FA for my furry art? its a gallery setup so i can just see only art without getting overwhelmed by tweets. i really get distracted by tweets :(
though the plus side is you can discover so many new artists through retweets and likes, ....but i'm still just overwhelmed,....is it ok if i just go back here into my little old cave, lost in sepia colored memories?

But if you want to hang out with all the cool kids, you're required to bash FA, or so I hear.
Twitter thrives on call outs and conflict, and it has been very divisive and emboldened people who want to use the fandom as their soapbox. In contrast, gallery sites thrive on art and the soapboxers would be ranting away, largely ignored, in their journals.
As many problems as FA has, Twitter is much worse in every respect.
Plus Twitter can be too messy and full of arguing D:
I guess the same reasons?
