I'm a new soul, I came to this strange world
Hoping I could learn a bit 'bout how to give and take
My dad managed to talk some sense into my stepmom, so she's going to let him pay (though how much is still up in the air). Apparently, she threatened to leave him if he payed, and, not wanting to destroy his reputation, he simply said "Leave then." Of course, she'd never leave, and so she's decided to reconsider.
So, things may work out to where we don't have to sell the house. Which would be awesome. *crosses fingers and prays*
