Fucking Windows, how does it work? Joke's on me from Redmond, I guess.
Seriously, Windows has had its share of problems over the years, but when I'm seriously considering going through the financial pain of getting a Mac, or the hassle of tracking down a laptop that runs Linux fine...
On the plus side, seeing Microsoft beg and plead like a dirty whore to get people to use their other shitty services is one small joy from having to get everything back into working shape.
Anyway, since you bothered to click on here to here me whine about first-world problems, here's what'll be coming out sooner or later:
-New Alakazam story (probably the last one for a while, though he might crop up elsewhere).
-Finishing off the Potions series.
- The start of a new trilogy based on addictions.
-A very sex-heavy game that concludes another series.

- Clicking on the Start Menu did nothing (or seemed to do nothing).
- The volume control wouldn't work (right-clicking and opening mixer settings worked).
- The video player wouldn't play videos (other video players worked fine).
- Clicking on the Settings cog (which I had on the taskbar) did nothing.
Most of them weren't a serious issue, or something that could be gotten around by other means. The big one, for me, was the list that appears when (say) I right-click on LibreOffice Writer. That's a big time-saver to getting to the documents for the projects I'm working on (directly for stories, design documents for games), so that was my biggest annoyance.
Can't do anything beyond that since you did a reinstall.
