Well, here we are, now in September, this year really seems to be going by so quickly.
Anyway, what September mainly means for me is my birthday at the end of the month on the 27th. And this year, I’ll be reaching the age of 40. Yes, I really am that ancient.
I’m not sure how much hitting this particular milestone is going to affect me. I mean, I tend to get somewhat down on my birthday as it is, but to be hitting 40 and still be single and lonely… Well, suffice to say I’m not exactly looking forward to it. I’m currently doing my best to not think about it too much, with varying degrees of success.
Beyond that, I’m hoping that I can continue to be productive this month. Summer was a bad time for me for various reasons, but I seem to be doing better now. I’d like to get much more writing and artwork done this month than I have over the summer as well as finish off some commissions so that I can maybe take on some more.
It’s just a matter of seeing how much I can manage and how badly my approaching birthday screws me up…

And i also hope you open your commissions again. As I finally have a good idea of what I’d want from such a wonderful artist :3
One "Date" that used to really get me was "Christmas" as my family never really celebrated it [Cos its the time of year my Brother and Sister both died] so it always kinda feels like some worldwide party I'm not "Invited to", but I found the best way to deal with that was not have Christmas TV on [With all that la la la happy family shit or if you're not Xmas-y you're a Scrooge] and just treat it as a normal weekend

If I can, I'll at least chat more with you. I'm one of the people who watches you because I respect you as a great artist and a good person, rather than for fetish-related reasons (most of the things you make aren't even on themes I'd look at otherwise, but I feel like the art is worth looking at anyways in your case).
