We, ( senkolke) and I moved to Fairfield, California. About 16 miles NE of Vallejo. We found a bigger place, in a better neighborhood and cheaper rent. I couldn't walk around Vallejo without thinking something would happen to me. I don't drive, so that's out of the question. But living in Fairfield, I already walked around without fear of losing my life. There is a mall about a 15 minute walk from where we live and grocery stores in walking distance. There is a 16 screen movie theater connected to the mall with an IMAX screen. It's also Regal, which I am used to going to, when I lived in Rochester. so far, there has been no issues with Fairfield and am liking it here.
