If you really want to change up your fursona, just give him something to individulize him. It could be something he always wears, a pattern on him, a mark of some sort, anything, really. Just make him yours!

I love your design. You've chosen a unique, fairly rare species without weird cross-breeding or hipster pretension. Likewise, you've chosen a great color palette that makes sense for the species and avoids weird Mary Sue colorations such as glowing neon cyan insides. There's consistency across the various depictions of your character, the character itself is memorable, and the design highlights many important aspects. Of course, he's also quite huge and titillating, and the chest and overall weight are fun choices for a bird. You've made a great character; I don't really see any problem with him. Of course, bigger IS always better so you could certainly enlarge him even further (and I'd personally love to see him with some gigantic glutes, but that's just a personal preference). If you still find him boring, try putting him in a variety of poses and actions, show off his emotions and personality, put him in some sort of context, or have him interact with other characters.
