I have returned
I have returned after disappearing for a while. Basically a bunch of stuff has happened so here is a big update. This one will be a very long post.
After I sold my condo I got to see how much damage the HOA from hell actually did financially. It was worse than I thought. While I was still living in my old condo the building had foundation problems that were ignored for at least several years. The problems kept getting worse and the HOA would either ignore my complaints or play games to avoid fixing the issue which was something they were required to do according to the documents that I had to sign when I bought the place. During that process they issued 2 special assessments which forced me to pay a very large sum of money on top of the HOA fees. This caused my HOA fees to cost more than the monthly mortgage. Even after paying for these special assessments they still refused to fix the building. They did try to sneak a $12,000 special assessment on top of everything else. Luckilly word got out rather quickly to everyone living in the area and at the HOA meeting a riot almost started from the very angry responses from the other homeowners. That special assessment failed to pass. If it did I would have definitely filed for bankruptcy. I came close due to the other special assessments and other crap they kept trying to push onto me.
Me and the other neighbors in that building got together and fought the HOA. They really did not like us at all and tried to play games. We were also very close to hiring a lawyer to go after them as well. The foundation issue got so bad that support beams were breaking. Also the roof apparently was not built correctly. It was done really cheap. We managed to get the city to help us and go after the HOA. They finally fixed the foundation after the city threatened to sue the HOA. Also code enforcement even issued the HOA a fine as well. After the foundation was fixed the HOA was also forced to replace the roof as well. I sold my condo after the foundation was fixed and while the roof was being replaced. The rest of the buildings probably had similar issues as well. I got out of there before it got REAL expensive. Just before work was started don the roof, part of it did collapse and there was big tarps over the holes.
Around this time I also had to deal with someone who ended up becoming a textbook case of a narcisstic psychopath. He didn't help during this time and actually made the whole process of selling the condo harder than it should have been. He also had a big problem with trying to look like he is rich but in reality he had no money. He also acted like he has to have a high paying job but has no experience or skills that can e listed on a resume. The only jobs he was able to get were at places such as McDonalds and Whataburger. He also didn't last long at those places because they fired him shortly after hiring him. Eventually the police got called and from all of the evidence I can find, he is currently locked up in a mental hospital for life.
After escaping the HOA from hell I have been in the process of cleaning up the financial mess that got created due to clowns running the HOA. I have paid off most of the debts. Some of the smaller ones still exist but I am finally catching up on those and getting them paid off as well. The recovery process from these financial issues has been a painful one but I am slowly recovering. I also had to make my first major repair on my car around this time as well. It got over 100k miles without any issues which is very good. I like my Nissan Versa. The only symptom was that the check engine light came on and I had to get it to turn off to pass inspection at the time. That is when I found out what needed to be replaced and did so before it actually decided to fail and stop running.
During this time I have gotten rather busy dealing with cleaning up financial stuff and for a little while dealing with Mr. Psycho as well. Once Mr. Psycho got picked up by the police I had more time to dedicate to cleaning up a large financial mess. That large mess should be cleaned up very soon. I am now able to start contributing money to my investments which is a very good sign.
Also not too long ago I got a second part-time job to make some money on the side. So for 2-3 hours a day I am getting paid to get a good cardio workout after my regular full-time job. I am now working 60+ hours for 6 days a week. I don't have much free time again but I am making a good amount of money in the process which is going to paying off the remaining debts faster and some contributions to investments.
So now I am mostly free from a bunch of drama I can now continue working on some projects as well even though my free time is still very limited. Also some other good news I have lost even more weight and have gained a lot of strength too. This second job is definitely giving me a good workout at night.
Also I am currently decluttering again as well. Got too much stuff that I simply do not use and just collects dust in a box. I will be getting rid of some things. Currently I have a Wacom Intuos 5 Large tablet that doesn't really get any use right now. It doesn't look like it will be getting any use anytime in the near future. I am tempted to put it up on ebay but I really don't want to have to deal with the scammers there. Ebay has changed their policies to make it easy for buyers to scam the sellers and this usually happens the most with electronics. They give sellers almost no protection against such scammers. Also they would end up also taking about 15% of the final price in fees as well.
Soon I will also be working on rebuilding all 3 of my fursuits. Fox Killer will be getting a full rebuild because he is getting very old. The blue dragon has been due for a rebuild for a very long time. Also going to rebuild the wolf into a full suit as well once the other 2 are done. Once Fox Killer does get rebuilt whatever is left of the old suit will be given away to whoever claims it first and is willing to pay for shipping costs. Also whoever does claim the suit I would like them to fix it up and give him new life. I have done this for my old blue dragon suit which was made using navy blue material. From what I've heard is that it was given new life and is still going to this day.
Shortly I am going to continue working on my digitally animated eyes, animatornic wings and experiment with a voice changer as well.

That is exaclty why I would never buy a home within a HOA. There are just way to many HOA horror stories.
I just bought my second house here and this was my second night in the house. The first thing I had told the real estate agent that any HOA no matter how small was a total deal killer before I told them what I was looking to buy. I got a small 3 bedroom house. One bedroom is mine. The second bedroom is for all my fursuits. And the third I dont know what to do with it. It has its own bathroom so if I want I can rent it out but that would mean having to deal with someone elses personal issues and I dont know if I really want to have to deal with that.
Good luck on the total rebuilds on the fursuits. I have never had to do any kind of rebuild do to having so many fursuits and having no time to fursuit. For the last 3.5 years I was forced to work nights working lots of weekends. Between sleeping during the day and working at nights I have had little oppertunaty to fursuit. This is about to change. After the three and a half years I will be finaly moving to day shift. Now even on the days that I work I can go out at night to a bar or the club to fursuit. Going days will cut into my income. I will lose the extra night pay and instead of working 5 to 6 days of 12 hour shifts i will be working 4 or 5 days of 12 hour shifts a week.
