So yes, its my birthday. Been another good year here. Made new friends and fans, and overall had a good time.
Now, I am considering running an OCT like what
Lapseph did a few times.
OCT: Original Character Tournament
If I decide to go forward with it, basically I would have people face off against a random opponent each round and participants would have to either write or draw out their battle in a creative way to depict their victory. Whoever scores better would win and move on. Scoring would be based on how accurate people are portrayed, how well the piece is done, things like that. I'd likely put a prize up of some money for first place. Mostly I am curious if anyone would actually be interested in this, or if its just a waste of time?

As for the OCT, I'd like to start getting involved in large projects again, myself. I just need the time and focus to sit down and peck at the keys in a timely fashion. I haven't quite built up enough courage to say that I can for sure keep up with those kinds of things yet. I still have a lot of random time sinks between work, D&D, and other obligations. I would for sure watch if you did do an OCT, though. Perhaps by the time this or the next one starts, I'll get my shit together so that I can get done the stuff that I want to do get done, like writing for myself and projects like an OCT.
but yeah i'd be interested in a tournament thingy... but i probably definitely wouldnt have the time or whatever to write out stuff for every battle or whathaveyou :/c
