Computer Repairs + Commissions Opening Friday 9/21

MOVED ACCOUNTS!
sorensystem Hello again,
First off, computer repairs: I have finally managed to get a (somewhat) solid completion date from the repair shop. I am sorry for any confusion or disappointment I have caused by having commissions closed for so long, in spite of having an ad up that says they are open! Believe me, I'm frustrated too - the shop said it would take 24 to 48 hours to determine whether they could fix my computer, but it took them four days... And now after being told on Wednesday the repair would take "only a few days", I'm told it will be done sometime around the coming Wednesday to Friday. So on top of the expenses of the repairs, it's been an opportunity cost in that I've had commissions closed for over two weeks. I had no idea it would take that long! So, my apologies for the unexpected extended period of closure.
On the plus side, in light of this information, I know now that commissions will be opening again soon! After my first week of classes, my impression is that this semester, I'll be able to work on commissions 1-2 days a week (concentrated on weekends), with work interspersed on weekdays as my classwork allows. So a bit slower than I was able to work over the summer, but faster than previous academic years. I'll be reopening for the digital character art and reference sheets that I'm SUPPOSED to be open for (XD), and adding on two kinds of traditional badges: one "standard" size that will be $40 including US shipping, and one "deluxe" size that will be larger with a background, which will be $60 including US shipping. I'm going to hold off on traditional character art for the moment until I get a better feel for the rhythm of my classwork, since those tend to take me the longest.

Something else to note is, I will be limiting the number of commissions I take this time. This is because I will need to close commissions for about a month in mid-to-late October until mid-November—I have two conventions planned very close to each other (Furpocalypse on October 26-28 and Animaine on November 9-11), and I will need that time to keep on top of my schoolwork. So I will only be taking as many commissions as I can complete in the next month. This would mean about 4-5 smaller pieces or 2-3 larger pieces. If I work faster than I expect, I will open additional slots later!
My plan is to launch the commission form on Friday at noon Eastern time, so that I can get any commissions sorted out during the day and then begin on Saturday. Keep an eye out to make sure you get a spot!
As always I am happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks for reading everyone!
