Yeah, so that fursuit tourney thang running over on LJ? Normally I don't pay too much attention to it, but Beef Jerky, created and worn by Matrices, is up in the final four and desperately needs moar votes to keep in the running!

The reason I care is that Matrices was definitely a big inspiration to me when I first tried my hand at making fursuits. She generously stocked her personal website with a whole host of fabulous tutorials and hints to help newbies get off the ground with their projects, and I followed her mesh head how-to in building my very first. I no longer personally use that method of construction, but all the same, I feel like I never would have ever attempted it in the first place without her. And I'm not alone in following that very same tutorial! I know a few other furs with a similar story. For her generosity and contributions to the fursuit making community, I feel she and her suit should be given recognition. That aside, Beef himself is an adorable character, a well done suit and she does a great job hamming it up and giving him tons of personality when donning him.
