Clothes for Sale?
A few years ago, I bought two t-shirts and two pairs of jeans. After taking them to a clothing alteration store, and explaining what I wanted done, I walked out of the store with a single Two-headed shirt and a single pair of three-legged jeans, meant to be worn by two people.
For reason... I thought I should get a second set of clothing...
So now I have TWO two-headed shirts, and TWO pairs of three-legged jeans...
I have used one set for Halloween, and I was going to send the second set of clothing off to someone else, but that plan has fallen through. I have this second set of clothing sitting around with no use. It would be very hard/awkward to try and explain to anyone I know IRL why I have another set of conjoined clothes.
So that brings me here... Wondering if anyone here would be interested in buying said clothes. Is there even a market for them? Would they get used? I'm not really sure if I do want to part with them or not, but I thought I should ask to see if there was any interest.
I will check back in the comments in a few days.
if you have any other ideas that i could use them for, feel free to share.
Edit...
The two shirts were a size Large, but the material is very stretchy, I can put my hand in the other head hole and extend my arm stright out to the side.
As for the pants, they were originally 30Lx34w i believe (maybe 36w). But now that they share a bigger waist and increased middle leg, they seem to have gone up a size. Both my legs can fit in the middle leg of the jeans with no problem.
A 36w is a little tight on me, but when we used it for halloween, we actually need two belts to pull it tight enough they wouldn't just slide down.
I'm adding a link to a photo I took of them http://www.furaffinity.net/view/28738623/

Coincidentally, just a couple of days ago I was suddenly wondering (for no apparent reason) if anyone had ever tried this sort of thing with clothes. I'll admit I'm amused at the idea of a "clothing alteration store" that would do that for you. So now I'm curious: How did you find such a business? Did it cost much? Did anyone there give you any odd looks?
As for the clothes themselves, if you do plan to sell them, I'm sure the first question most folks would ask is: What size are they?
It was a Sewing and Alteration shop. So if you had a rip in your clothes they would fix it. If you needed something to fit a bit better, they could adjust the size or whatever.
It was about $70-$100 Canadian.
As for looks.... hahaha...
When I first asked if they could make a two-headed shirt, they didn't understand what I meant at all. After I showed them what I wanted done with the shirts, they said they could probably do it. I had the idea of doing the pants too once I got back home. So I then had to explain what I wanted done with the pants too. Tey were realyl confused and even asked, "Why do you want this???" I just told them it was going to be for a video for online. They just slowly nodded with a sort of "Ooooooooooook...." kind of expression.
When i brought in clothes te second time, and asked for the same time, they just smiled and didn't ask.
