For the longest time, I had an uncle who I've known since I was but a child. This man was like a second father to me. He supported me and loved me as if I was one of his own children. He's provided me wth so much inspiration and love that it always kept me going...

Recently, my uncle was diagnosed with Cancer and for years he has been fighting through it. Well, during this month, his cancer has reached criticall severity. Since then, he has been fighting for his survival. My parents had to cancel their trip to Puerto Rico to go see my uncle...

...well......it happened...i just got word from my dad and i finally got an update....my uncle put up a good fight...but alas, it was all in vein. its over...the doctors did everything they could, but they were mearly postponing the inevitable.....

As a result...my uncle has passed away...

To say this dealt a massive blow on my me and my family would be an understatement. I heard it from my brother that our entire family back in the Dominican Republic heard about his passing and were all devistated...and I do not blame them...

I can't stop crying knowing that he's gone.....this isn't like when I lost my Grandma. She died of old age, but my uncle was still relatively young....yes he lived a good life; but he looked like he still many years ahead of him...

It hurts. it really fucking hurts....

Rest in Peace, Uncle......I pray that God will take care of you...
