I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I have to talk about this. This morning I was woken up by an uncle who rushed into the house because there was an active shooter at my work place. The person responsible is wounded and in custody at the moment. From what I've been told by co workers four people are dead and many are injured. I panicked and tried to get a hold of both a friend and my best friend, both of whom work days. Thankfully I work night shift. They're alright and despite being atheist I thank god for that. I never thought this kind of disaster would strike so close to home, let alone at my own job.

If you own firearms or know someone who does please invest in trigger locks. These kinds of incidents need to stop. Innocent lives are being lost and innocent people are being harmed. If what I heard is true this happened over a love triangle, a disgruntled female who was messing around with a man she didn't know was married. So people died over nothing. NOTHING. I can't grasp the mere idea of doing something like this over something so trivial, something that could be solved with words. Now I'm terrified to go work because we have a lot of disgruntled people at the warehouse. I think I'm going to be nervous at work for a good long while.
