what sort of rutt we talking? like not feeling you are achieving anything or everything you are doing isnt coming out well..?

When I'm in a situation like this I do something else that I know will cheer me up. For example, when I feel like I can't write anything at all, I go practise drawing a bit, or cook something up. Usually works.

Well, seeing as you do gaming as a job, why not take a day where instead of working, you just relax?

Play a video game for yourself, or go out and do something with friends or so.
A simple day off, away from your work.

I've heard people say this (for both artist and writers block, at least). Draw/write something every day. It can be whatever, just as long as it is something. Don't overthink it, don't hang yourself up over it. Draw what comes to mind. Draw as much as you feel like doing, put it aside and go on to something else.

It has the potential benefit of working through a block, plus it gives you a benchmark on your investment of time, production quality and output all put into one. Having such a benchmark gives you perspective and can contribute to improving. Be it quality through practice, quality / output through new techniques, etc.

Kinda a super-general idea, but hope that helps somewhat.

Probably take a break. When you feel like you don't wanna draw, even stuff you do draw turns out 'wrong' somehow, and it'll just frustrate you more. Just chill, and take a break for a few days.
