Drew too much

I think I might've over done it with the characters I made and burned myself out of drawing for a while. Feeling pretty unmotivated to draw another dragon head or ref sheet. I might just stop drawing and wait until someone is interested or sends me a note if they want something but until then I'm just gonna lay back and relax

You do comissions or take request or something like that?

I do take request and comissions yes. I do them freely though for obvious reasons. However I only draw dragons

I understand the feeling. Burnout can happen if you don't feel like your work is appreciated, if the drawings aren't meaningful, or if you don't feel like you are making progress. This is probably a sign that you should try experimenting and doing things that you want to. Don't feel pressured by expectations.

OP
No I'm happy with what I drew but it's just I drew so much that I realize I cannot make a ref for every character due to how detailed some are. I've been doing things I want to every day but the main thing is I'm slowly running out of new dragons to make but will I make a ref for them is the real question. Most of them I won't because I feel like what's the point of making these refs for myself...? Doesn't seem right. I make most of these dragons to let people have free if they ask me in notes. THAT alone is the main reason I'm doing that. Sure I'm not the most talented artist in the world like 99% of the world wants everyone to be... but how many people in the world actually do what I'm doing for free without regretting it? Hardly any. I'll never know what it's like to be pressured by expectations because I'm rarely talked to let alone I'm usually just passed along by...........
