Officially all moved in!! [update] Future fursuit plans!
So after a month of being in the new apartment, we finally received our things! I'm actually quite surprised and happy since it came in about 2 weeks early from the original time they said they'd have it for us. Everything was smooth getting in, and seems to all be here. A few casualties but nothing we really care about so that's good haha. For the past 3 days we've done nothing but hop from store to store getting things like a cheap dresser and bookshelf to properly store shit, and this house is finally feeling like a home!
HOPEFULLY on Monday I'll be getting back into that steady grove of work for the first time in months. I've been doing better and actually can't wait to get back to work :D Let's see if I can get an actual decent upload schedule XD No promises quite yet.
Things are looking promising for the future, after the car fiasco, we've bounced back rather well, and I'm pretty happy. I plan to stream (for real this time >>) a LOT more and offer in stream commissions (and maybe some freebies??) again. So woot to that!
In other news, Kymah needs a new suit XD pretty much every part of him but the head is just so overused and under cared for. It's mostly my fault for not being more careful with where I stored him and how I washed him (My washer decided it hated fur) I'm going to use remaking him, once I have the funds in a few months, as a test on how well I work here. Hawaii turned out to be a TERRIBLE place to do fursuit work. The lack of supplies available was terrible and I was so disheartened by it. I'm so excited to have better space and actual supply stores!!! Not to mention pretty much anyone ships to CA so special items and furs will be able to actually be sent to me no problem and for much cheaper.
I have a few obligations before I work on ANY personal fursuit work, one refund + a pair of handpaws to pay back a friend for a hotel stay earlier this year. I'm planning on doing much better, and want to see how well this place does for me before offering any more commissioned work. I absolutely LOVE doing fursuit work for others, getting to test my ability and work on characters I otherwise never would have is a passion of mine, but I can't let my passion get ahead of my reality, again, so I'm waiting until I'm confident and sure I'm able to get things done professionally. I'd love to do this full time one day, but do it smart and well. I've more than overestimated my situation before, I won't let it happen again.
Thank you to everyone who's been supporting me and to my friends for being amazing people. Love you all <3
