do it, specially twitter, I had an account, never paid much attention to it, decided to check twitter more often, big mistake, took me 3 days to realize that even when I don't follow things I don't like or care they pop up and make me angry, after 3 days I felt a worse person, nope, twitter is a cesspool that can only be interacted with a pole, facebook is not too far behind but there is a little more control, take a break.
