Some bad news about Dragon Rider

Sexy Kitsune News I write this journal today because it has become very clear to me that there is no way Dragon Rider 2ed is coming out by the end of the year. Although a good chunk of scripting and extras are completely done, the hardest and most time consuming part (you know the whole EXTRA COMIC THING) is nowhere close to done...or even started.
There's no one this frustrates more than myself as this is a project near and dear to my heart and it seemed as if everything in the world aligned to make my comic relevant again...but alas, I am but a single kitsune and I am very very tired. This year has been extremely taxing to me both mentally and work wise and sadly now I really can't pour as much time, energy and love to the project as I'd need to if I wanted to get it out before 2019.
I'm really sorry everyone, I hope you're not too disapointed. On the plus side the extras are looking really nice! And hopefully it won't be too far in 2019 when the comic FINALLY gets released again. Still no ETA on DR2 because jesus comics are hard work, especially for me.
The only good news I have for you is that COMMISSIONS WILL REOPEN NOVEMBER 12th! (mark it on your calendar boys) and there is the sliiiiiiiimest of chances that I'll make some custom comic commission auctions, so you know, there's you chance guys!
Once again, I'm super sorry, but I promise you'll see more of Aida and Keleth real soon! <3

but for serious, sometimes you just don't have the time, especially for such a huge project. It'll come out when it can, and it'll be great! Looking forward to seeing more!

The internet audience, by its nature, consumes all entertainment as fast or as slow as it is put out. No matter how hard you push yourself to get something out faster they will always consume it within days of posting and be ready for more. Because of this, it makes absolutely no sense to push yourself past your limits to try and meet an arbitrary deadline that life itself can prevent you from reaching. If setbacks and/or rough times happen, deal with those first then return to this. Your fans will be here regardless of whether you post before 2019 or after the new year.

I was worried you’d had something happen that’d mean you couldn’t work on it at all. If you need more time for it, that is more than ok. I’d much rather have something later than not at all.
