The Tubbs Fire
One year ago, today, Santa Rosa was hit by the most destructive wildfire in California history...The Tubbs Fire. It destroyed 5,643 structures and killed 22 people. I was forced to evacuate from my house and leave on the 9th of October. It was the scariest day of my life. It wasn't till October 31st that the fire was competely contained.
God bless the thousands of firefighters, law enforcement officials and most importantly the first responders. They were the people who stopped my neighborhood from burning to the ground. They are the real heroes of this world.
