To Azul, what's it like being so big and strong and what's it like being able to grow anytime you wanted?

"Feels great, obviously. I show up in a room, and suddenly, everyone instantly respects me... One way or another, heh heh... Don't really care to get all buddy-buddy with most people for various reasons, but I DO enjoy company -- contrary to what Otoh thinks.

Ever since I was a child, I've always held this opinion: You only live once -- why spend that one life living as a weakling? I didn't actually care much for my superpower when I triggered it from a fight against some other bullies when I was a calf, believe it or not. I always felt it just made me a bigger target and with the proposed 'Mutant Registration Act' looming at the time, it was not something I wanted to deal with then. But fate ended up tabling the bill for many years, and over time I began to saw the merits of my power and how it suits my personal philosophy (and my profession as public safety).

I guess once I realized how I can use it to better help others, I began to see my sizeshifting ability in a much more positive light. Were it not for the prejudices against mutants like me, I would have found it to be perfect for someone like me. Oh well, can't have your cake and eat it I guess.

I only wish 'Amiguín' shared the same sentiment. He's a good friend, but man, he can be such a meek doormat sometimes... It took a years of convincing and a brush with death just to get him to start beefing himself up too for the sake of his health. And I had to blackmail him into this just so I'd forgive him for breaking his promise (and more importantly forgive himself) ... I'm not proud of that but it's for his own good...

We all make mistakes; the important thing is to learn and grow from it.. heh heh..."
