Today at my grandmother's birthday as we were talking it somehow got to the subject of sexual orientation, and my dad started talking about how homosexual people are sick and how it's just wrong and that they need to be fixed etc. etc. and hearing that honestly just made me snap. I was basically yelling a bit and saying stuff like they can't change who they are, they should be respected as much as others, people should be allowed to love who they have feelings for y'know, that kinda stuff.. So it turned into a nasty argument between me and my dad and it lasted until my mom interrupted yelling at me that I can't raise my voice at a table like that so I just got up and walked off to another room.

Usually me and my dad agree when it comes to a lot of things, but this little situation made me hate him a bit for this.
But seriously, it drives me absolutely crazy when I hear someone judging people because of their orientation.
Just wanted to rant because I was pretty angry for the rest of the day after this
