Jinx has been wondering why he was unable to get anything done for so long. He was worrying more and more, he didn't want it to be true. But sadly it is. His depression has come back.
A left over from his past abuse. It does this now and again. Normally goes away with in a day or too, but it seems it will be here for some time this time.
Sadly there is nothing anyone can do to help and Jinx doesn't react well to most medications. He will just have to wait it out. He will be OK again soon enough though.
And whatever you may think you did to cause this or even contribute to it, you are wrong friend. Though the original depression came from his father's abuse, it just comes back sometimes now.

managed to escape it for 2 years in 2016 and 17, but it appears to have tracked me down again this year
That's typically what I try to get me through it anyway. Of course much of that is easier said than done when one
