Greetings everyone! I wanted to wait until I got my first schedule before sharing publicly, but I just got a part-time job so things are going to be a bit different for me art-wise from now on.
I'm projected to only work 25 hours average, but I might take on more hours here and there depending. Regardless, I'll still be able to draw and whatnot as per usual, BUT things will be a lot slower and handled differently.
I need to see how things go before I say anything is for certain, but I'll let everyone know the current situation as of now.
I will work to complete my current commission queue, and after that I will take a break from taking on new batch commissions.
The only ways you will be able to receive commissions from me is if 1. we are mutuals (we follow each other or we are friends), 2. I post YCHs, or 3. I host commission Streams!
The reason I've decided to do this is because I ideally would like to focus the majority of my extra time on my webcomic and building up my Patreon.
I've noticed that since I've taken on more batch commissions, I've been neglecting as much time to these as I was, and it's been a bit stressful playing catch-up.
It's a little frustrating, because I only just began to get a good schedule going with balancing commissions and comic work, but life is what it is.
I'll still be taking commissions one way or another, getting access will just be a little stricter! And who knows, there is more than enough potential that I will open up batches again when I get more comfortable or if I end up not proceeding with the job (since it is only a seasonal position with a 90 day probation period).
So please bear with me as I figure this whole thing out!
(Also, not that anyone would ask or that it really matters, but I'll keep my employment under private wraps for the time being!)
Hope everyone is ready for SPOOPDAY! My birthday is the 25th and sadly I have to work that day, but I'm considering doing a multi-stream with stupidshepherd if I'm feeling up to it/don't have to work one day the following weekend!
So keep an eye out!!
