Furpocalypse 2018 and recent troubles

Soooo I'm pretty sure I'm going this year...I KNOW its this coming weekend, but sadly my van went kerput on me and the garage cant start working on it till this Tuesday and I'm usually up there and on-site by Thursday evening. They assure me that if what I suspect is wrong with it IS whats wrong with it, they should be able to repair/replace what needs it and have it running again by (hopefully) Thursday afternoon.
I must say that this year has been a real heck-fest as far as trying to save $$ for this convention. Firstly I held back my annual Knoebels meet till late summer, a choice I wont be making again in the future. Then I had insurance and several other large bills pile on me altogether at falls onset, THEN not one but TWO repairs needed by my van kinda emptied me out and I'm running off of ONE paycheck for this trip IF I still make it... GAH!
Also, for those who know me from previous years, I'm the racing guy with the neat cell-phone controlled Anki Overdrive track in the gaming room. Sadly the track is wearing out and thus the cars have a harder time staying on-track, and with all the expenses thrust upon me of late, I havent had the time nor cash to replace the worn track pieces. So unfortunately this year will be the 1st that I do not bring my tracks...though I may just say heck with it ad brig the older set of cars, but they dont have as much options as the newer set. Meh, we'll see.
Ok, enough of the gloom and doom, IF I do make it to Furpoc, I will be in the tabletop gaming room for most of the Con, as I always have. I brig a plethora of my own personal collection of rare and unusual games that I add to the cons already large game selection for the benefit of Con-goers. In the absence of my Overdrive track I may just bring my super huge triple boardgame The Dark World Trilogy!
On top of that I do fully intend to brig my collection of Furoticon Cards to play with seasoned players or teach newbies alike! Due to the X rated nature of the cards artwork, this will be done at night, usually in a quiet place, feel free to ask in person or here on FA if interested as this will not be scheduled or anything.
Each year I do take a trip to Saturday in the early to late afternoon to the nearby hobbystore that showcases products at the Con, but I find their store much better supplied with a tremendously larger selection of nerd-loot! ^.^
Finally I guess I'll put some basic info here at the end in case anyone who is going would like to find me:

Where does squirrel nest at the Con: At the tabletop room of course! Its where you find the best nuts! XD

Can I take your picture?: I dot see why not

Can I goto the hobbystore with you?: Yes, just make sure you come talk to me so I know you wanna go ad we'll arrange a time
If for whatever reason my usual luck takes effect and my van remains inoperable and I cannot make it to the Con, I'll write a followup journal here on Thursday to let everyone know, but otherwise I'll be there and checking my FA daily
