To explain, Desir is a transgender, non-binary activist and a remarkable artist in the anthropomorphic and fantasy communities. I have not interacted much with them myself, but according to their journal and gofundme (provided in the link above) they need money to get their gender confirmed, and in today's awful political climate, we cannot be certain that the legal resources to do what needs to be done will be available.
If, like me, you are not able to donate at this time, I would like you to spread this out to find people who can.
