I finally figured out how to draw digitigrade legs and now I can move on to sketching out the head faster. c: It's still a pretty basic drawing, but I am improving over time.

It has always been the goal for me to do realism in a way that makes sense with an anthro character. I think I have done a good job with it. c: Now I just have to get my painting style and I'll be doing even better.

wow very Nice. hehe Great Cross hatching and Stippling <3 i love the Light tone to it too It plays an Opposite of normal Pictures where you See dark Areas which are the locations of "busy points" this one is quite the opposite where the light Areas are busy! has a lovely Feel to it almost Cold like winter and i feel that Explains the emotion of what i'm seeing in the Picture Perfectly very Well done! <3

This image is very special to me as I feel like it marks a substantial milestone in quality that my art had achieved during the start of this year. My style has become more defined. My characters more detailed and varied alongside cementing my own place within the community.

And there is still far more to come. Still more to learn. Still things I've yet to discover and most importantly, still things I wish to create as I go towards the future.

Also gonna take the opportunity to give a very special thanks to you and everyone else who has helped me reach this point and still supports me to this day. I truly wouldn't have made it this far on my own.

I've never watched an episode of The Secret Saturdays, but I learned that Drew Monday (Drew Saturday's evil counterpart) has a really long tongue. I like Rouge the Bat, I like drawing Rouge with a really long tongue,* and Drew and Rouge are both one syllable names with a prominent "ooo" sound. So this happened.

I still really love the posing and coloring in this. I know I really should get a laptop and a good tablet for my arting, but I'm still seriously considering buying one of the modern Art Academy games for my 3DS. I miss those faux paint colors.

* Well, I love drawing girls with really long tongues in general, but especially bats. Some of 'em have outright tentacle-sized tongues. Bats are amazing. =3 BTW, how far can Alexia's tongue go out? I've noticed she's got a really big 'un in some of your pics.

I drew it as a test for an idea I had of drawing a character before turning it into a cross stitch piece. And It did work out well for me! I overlaid a grid and filled in the colours.

What I like about it is at the time I actually was proud of the shading and lighting, but since I kept getting into art slumps and also switching programs entirely, I've kind of lost my way and forgotten how to bring it back to this standard.

oh i See, yeah alot of different programs handle things in a different manner i now use clip Studio Pro myself And Always needing to change up shading methods just for learning Purposes so it certainly isn't a bad thing to think how to Achieve something who knows you might Stumble on a better method that tickles your Fancy more so! and Yes the shading in this one Really makes it pop! <3

I made it for a pathfinder game I was playing and it was the first time I did a humanoid character and I was pretty happy with how well it came out. Some parts were rushed like the bear and background, but the kobold I spent a lot of time on. I was having trouble figuring out proportions and how to make her seem right. There are quite a few things that still don't look great but it is one of my favorites.

i Like this kobold well Of course With Each piece the Artist will find something wrong but that just puts a thorn in our mind to not do it next time. hehe it is best to notice it! but remember no one is going to look at your Picture longer than you do when making it. =3 nice work i do like this kobold hehe <3

Thank you so much! This picture is really special to me because of the process of creating it. I knew that I had to push myself for this piece, so I looked at many references and put a lot attention to detail in the sketch and digital coloring. As I was doing that, I listened to a lot of music from the Legend of Zelda games and some of my other favorites throughout the process to be in the right mindset. All of that made for a great experience creating this picture.

Marlia Lagossi is a genetic project... mish-mash of a bunch of different things that ended up looking like a gerbil and a rabbit had babies and then those babies mated with humans... looks like.
Funny thing is, in the game, if that faction wins, she saves humanity... and she's not even fully human!
