If this journal seems out of the blue to you and you have no idea what's going on, the gist is someone made a profile on FurAffinity specifically to bash me in a journal where they claim they have proof of me and Kat "living it up" and then scamming people because we can't pay rent (once).
That account was created 2.5 hours before the journal about me was made. It has no watches/follows/comments, 12 views (last I checked, probably 5 were me) and only 1 journal, which was the one calling me a "scammer".
At first I thought someone random had seen my 'Please help' journal and tweets and posted to an actual "Furries Beware" page or something. But they didn't. They posted it to their brand new account with no followers and DM'd some of my friends and fans telling them not to give us money, that we were "living it up" and that we were "NOT poor" (which when I heard this I lol'd, literally. How much money does he think we're pulling in from this "scam", like thousands per month?! XD).
I'm not sure what he's trying to accomplish, but he's gone over the line with this one. Not only are all the tweets taken out of context, plucked from time and situation and stuck in a vacuum where assumptions can be drawn and applied, he misses a few HUGE elements to the story (like skimming over the part where my drum set was a gift). And most of it is stuff I spent my own money on. O__o
Aside from that, he seems to forget that my income fluctuates and is unpredictable (tips are not steady, and neither are my hours lately) and that there's this thing called "Unexpected Expenses" (like sudden car repairs). Also apparently poor people should never treat themselves or do anything fun ever because they might be in a bind in a month for some other unrelated reason and "you shouldn't have bought that shirt last month or we wouldn't be in this mess, dag nabbit!"
Anyways, in a nutshell... no, I'm not a scammer. If I am, I'm really bad at it, because yes we are still poor and yes we had some unexpected bad luck and a loss of one part time job, all of which accumulated and coincided with the bulk of my bills being due at the end of the month. Shit happens. It doesn't mean I'm scamming people, and that's a shitty thing to accuse me of.
Besides, out of everything he documented over the last 6 months (I won't link the journal because for one it'll probably be gone and two, it doesn't deserve your attention) I never asked for money! I only asked for money a few days ago as a last resort, but every other time I got money (whether it was for the drum set or to help me pay my car payment that one time) that was a result of friends doing genuinely nice things for me that I didn't expect. That's quite a big difference from "scamming" someone.
This is the third time someone has made a brand new account here just to troll me. It happened twice last year, and now I'm pretty sure they are all by the same guy. I also am pretty sure I know who this guy is.
Ok, now that you've been filled in, it's time for me to respond to the points the guy made in his journal. I'd reply on his actual journal, but that will soon be gone and he disabled comments anyways. It might read confusing to some, but he'll know what I'm talking about (as will those of you who received a message from this person).

5/26 Wow I went to a show with my own money. And?
6/22 CONTEXT: Navient payment schedule online was misleading and they withdrew $214 I didn't have. #Unexpected
6/22 Because bad luck always comes at the worst possible times. Murphy's Law
7/5 Went to AC because friends wanted us to and let us stay with them and pay them back later. Paid for my part of gas with my own damn money.
7/23 Drum set was an unexpected GIFT from a very generous friend.
7/23 Overdraft almost caused by Paypal/bank account mixup but it didn't. Why even mention this?
7/23 Spent $80 to complete my drum set with my own money because I had a show coming up and I didn't want to ask my friend for help.
7/28 Splurged a little to take my wife to see her childhood idol for her fucking birthday. Sue me. (purchased 3 weeks earlier when I had the money)
7/31 I was just venting about my situation and a friend decided to help me. I didn't ask or expect anyone to help.
8/7 Went to a show with my own money.
8/7 Bought a shirt with my own money.
8/11 Spent $20 of my own money at a thrift store for a Western themed birthday party for my Mom...
8/18 This was the same drum stuff I ordered earlier, just now arriving
8/23 Bought with my own money.
9/17 Went to a show with my own money. It was $13 and local.
9/26 Went to a show with my own money.
9/27 A friend got this ticket for me in exchange for a commission.
9/27 Bought $15 of merch. Wow.
10/6 Went to a furry event that the founder (and our friend) invited me to personally and he paid for our cabin. Kat and I split gas with our own money.
10/8 My. Own. Money.
10/8 I had the money and could afford this at the time because (see below)
10/9 I didn't expect to have to pay $400 on brakes suddenly when the guy told me before we left that I could go at least another month or two. Unexpected expense at a bad time causes a domino effect. I also had to get tires too.
10/26 Ok? Also not my fault?
10/26 And here we are at my latest journal, a sincere plea for financial relief because some things added up at a bad time. Oh if only I didn't spend MY OWN MONEY THAT I EARNED WHILE PAYING MY BILLS before these unforeseen events occurred...
Dude, What The Fuck?! What exactly are you prosecuting me for here?! Spending my own money on things I like? I can't predict when a bill I thought I postponed comes through anyways, or my car needs 3 new tires and new brakes around the time of an event I had been planning for MONTHS. Cut me some fucking slack.
That drum kit was a GIFT! ALL OF IT! The first part was bought in Feb by Kat and her boss at the time. As a GIFT. My well-off friend decided to surprise me with money specifically for the second half of the drum set because he wanted to see what I could do with it. AS A GIFT. Then I bought a few things for the kit myself because I had to and I didn't want to ask that friend again, even though he probably would have bought that for me too.
My other friend helped me with a car payment ONCE when some shit added up, even though I didn't ask him to. And now the latest bit, which is the only real legitimate time I've asked for money this ENTIRE YEAR! All the other times I really needed money I refused to ask until it got extremely dire. I even turned down money from somebody (you?) when I had gotten the help I needed already. I'm aware I could have still taken the money. I didn't. I'm not like that.
I'm at least 80% sure I know who this is. But I'm not going to ever reveal that information just in case I'm wrong. However, if it is who I think it is, the passive-aggressive antics need to fucking stop. I already explained myself over the phone and you did too. I understood where you were coming from, and I'm sorry for how things happened (if this is who I think it is).
But this is just dumb. You have no proof of anything you claim other than a log of my spending habits that I've chosen to make public and again unless it was a gift, IT WAS MY OWN GODDAMN MONEY. NO ONE ELSE'S. MINE. Maybe Kat helped. But other than the few specific instances I mentioned where people chose to help me, it was my own money.
Basically what I'm saying is, don't fucking do this again. You think you're being clever with the other accounts you've made to troll me, but this shit is getting old. I'm going to finish your fucking art so I can stop feeling guilty for you ever helping me, which I actually still appreciate to this day because I really needed it then but whatever. Then I'm just going to leave you alone and hope you do the same to me.
So yeah, way to go. I enjoyed reading the documentary of a poor person's struggles to enjoy life as best he can while also struggling with bills and random misfortunes that crop up. Also I think I've seen that story before. It's called A Shitton Of People Live Like This Because Life Is Fucking Hard.
I am trying to better my situation. Maybe I can try harder. And shit, I'm sure I can point you to countless other times I've done something like bought a fucking Subway sandwich when I should've been saving exclusively for rent or some other bill (which if I did this for every bill I had coming up I'd never eat).
But this shit where you stalk me and then micromanage my spending habits and call me a fucking "scammer" is creepy, over-the-top and fucking disgusting. I deserve to live my life as best I can without being fucking shamed for it. That's my business, NOT yours. And when friends decide to help me it's because they're good friends and they've made that choice. I didn't scam them. If you feel I've scammed you, then I'm sorry but it is never ever my intent to do that and it never will be.
Finally, fuck you for making me waste all this damn time dealing with your stupid bullshit you wanker. I hope you enjoy your art.

Hang in there friend
If they were smart, they might have used a proxy, but you can't always assume they're smart enough to do that. Especially just to harass someone.
They didn't seem to understand that it's not that they were not clear, it's that it's very clear what they are doing, and I find their actions inappropriate, and disdainful.
I've blocked them, as I have no interest in further attempts to stir up drama from them.
