Regarding "The Gift", Save Daniel? Y/N

A lot of readers have expressed concern over Daniel's pending 'demise' at the paws of Kon. Although I have noted since the very beginning that he is not well-suited for trickster spirits and to expect a possible bad ending for him, there has been a lot of surprise, alarm, and pain among readers at the way in which Daniel's story is concluding.
Now-- right now, for a limited time only, even though there was no saving grace available for Daniel's storyline, I shall provide one!
.... assuming we can get 10 "Y" votes on SF and FA EACH! (Yes, if you post to both sites you may vote on each).
So-- if we hit rewind on Daniel's ending, then we also have an important decision to make:
How far back?
Votes should be presented as a Y or an N and if a Y is offered then the chapter and post should be referenced as #.#, so a vote would look something like Y6.3 if you wanted to rewind to the most recent decision.
That being said, get those votes in-- this option is only open through midnight (pst) on Sunday, November 4th!
If the N votes win or if there are not enough Y votes then Daniel's concluding chapter will be completed this coming week.

Just have Kon come to his Senses as it were. Let the love that the blue eyes represents hold true. The ending we suspect from the wording of the last post is just a joke on us.
Kon's mind is a bit messed up right now if you ask me.

As tempted as I am to suggest going back to the very start to try to discourage Daniel from bonding with Kon at all, I think that would actually be a mistake. At that point, he did not have compatibility with the other spirits, so they would not be able to protect him from Kon if he attacked Daniel immediately.
I vote for 6.3 rewind, though you did reveal the outcomes of the other choices on SF. (Empowering Herne resulted in Daniel living but Aiden possibly dying; Aiding Aiden resulted in Aiden living but probably resulted in Daniels death; if option 1 was chosen, the blue eyes belonging to Jack or a voice from the past would result in the best ending, choosing Bart would result in Daniel living but Aiden dying) . If we rewind to 6.3, would we have the same options to choose from, would you create new choices for us, or would you automatically select the second highest vote count we made?
As for the rest? well... we'll see.

but yeah, I'm here voting to save Daniel. I grew to like him and his 'harem'.
I just can't see Kon as a murdering spirit. He's manipulative, cunning, and a definite Trickster. But a murder? No.
Either way, that's vote #9, so he may not even be that!
My vote is Y5.1. Here is hoping is the right choice and not just another path to a bad ending... one is one too many :'(
