Twitter Termination
I kinda decided to completely remove my Twitter account. I did some thinking, kinda obvious one, and I realized that social media, at its best, automatized the most basic forms of communications by answering a very basic ''how are you'' on a daily basis, thus taking away from the natural flow of talking to people :P
Now if you're some sort of company/content creator, sure, social media is pretty much a necessity so that consumer/fan can stay up to date with everything you do. But for me (at least for the time being) anything like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, always felt a bit forced/unnecessary. So I figured I'd cut that out for good :P

I'd say we are pretty much on the same page here. I think the idea behind Facebook, Twitter etc. is great. Staying in contact and keeping people up to date has never been easier than in today's time thanks to the internet. However, people tend to take that stuff way too seriously. I don't really care too much about your online profile, I would much rather care about you as a person. The "human factor" in communication definitely gets lost through automation (and anonymity).
A lot of people also tend to forget that they're communicating with a real person over the internet and they think they can get away with whatever the heck they want.
But that's a topic for another day. Personally I like to keep things simple and minimalistic. I do have a Facebook account, but all of my RL contacts know that I basically never use it. And just to make a point, I also like to ignore the friggin' messenger. My friends know how to reach me if it's something important. You know, like in the old days when you had to... talk to people, when you needed something. lol
Hope you're having a good day :3
A psych study showed that making posts on FB increased stress, while conversation (real-time communicaiton) lowered stress.
