Mael and I went out and got our new guinea pig a couple of hours ago. :) She is a very beautiful black one with bands of reddish brown/orange around her body and one small splash of white fur on the back of her neck and she is so soft. She was so nervous at first she was pretty much stock still and staring but she seems to be warming up more now. When I left the room to type this, she was starting to eat the food I'd put into her food bowl and she was chirping a little bit. Her name is Tigress, inspired by her coloring and my grandmother's suggestion of Tiger Lily and Mael and I just love her already.
