Internet was down since Tuesday.

So yeah, been cold and rainy over the past few days, and when the AT&T come today it sounds like it was some box outside of our house.
So luckily it wasn't the modem or things like that.
So yeah, was a fun couple of days of not having friends. >_>

What did you do in the meantime, the usual not-internet things I guess?
I have also been playing Castlevania Dawn Of Sorrow. Minor nuggets of improvements to Aria of Sorrow, but more steps backwards. =U
Star Allies is getting a friends update with Taranza, Susie, and Magolor soon, plus a toughere Star Allies mode apparently, so that might be something to come back to.
I did replay that recently. I went through with forging the Claimh Solais too. Did you know that there's a bug with the luck stat, that meant you got no meaningful improvement in soul or item drops? There are patches specifically for this bug, but you need a flash cart or emulator.
I am curious about that hence why I went ahead and grinded for the latest batch of puzzle pictures.
Wow, and how in the world would you know that such a bug happened?
I have accessed the final area but I need to grind for all the souls. I don't remember the best way to grind for money. =P
I didn't ever finish the puzzles, but if I were to play through Guest Star mode with all of the allies, I'd get there eventually anyway.
That said, I wonder if they fixed the title screen bug that lets you play through Guest Star as Kirby.
It's just a simple programming error, and any amount of source code inspection or console monitoring should have caught it in development.
Anyone interested in rom hacking would've found the problem anyway.
The best way to get money, I think it involves buying cheap weapons, then forging them with souls into better weapons.
I am just thankful for my 3 Kirby Amiibos, that helps with giving me 6 more puzzle pieces.
No idea.
You need souls to grind for money, you need money to grind for souls. =P I love this game. XD
True, I've got 7 Kirby series amiibo and I could use those to get puzzle pieces very quickly.
I can't quite remember if there was any really good way to grind money in DoS, but there was probably something involving weapon forging with common soul drops, anyway.
I think it might've even been something like the Wargs in the lost village. You could probably look at the list of possible weapon upgrades and figure it out anyway.
Yeah, 14 extra would be nice. =P
I'll figure something out, now that I have internet I will look it up. Also I was surprised that I beat Gergoth on my second try since he SLAUGHTERED me on my first playthrough. He was as bad as Spikey Tiger in Secret of Mana. =P
Not familiar with the Bowser's Kingdom coin grind method, but if it's something you can do whilst watching Fullsauce streams then yeah.
Yeah, that many extra puzzle pieces will get the puzzles done quickly. It's just a chore to actually scan all of the amiibo. :P
Gergoth is always bad, just for being a big awkward thing in a tiny room, and not much room to crouch or slide-kick safely.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YekPSYa-sKg 180 coins per try and you don't have to touch the control stick while getting coins.
Yeah, even 3 is a little tedious.
Yes indeed. But I managed to beat him in two tries much to my surprise. Death on the other hand took me a while. >_>
It's one thing to grind for completition, but it's another to grind for completion in a game update after picking it back up.
Death, yeah he's one of the genuinely challenging bosses.
The Persephone soul is surprisingly effective against Abaddon though, it just sucks up all of the locusts effortlessly.
I had that moment when I finally decided to start grinding for the initial costumes added to Odyssey. It was something like 20,000-30,000 coins. The price of these outfits is the very definition of padding. Why does an entire outfit cost 8,000 coins?
Indeed he is.
Guess I'll have to beat up that lady to get her soul then. =P Abaddon is always a pain.
It wouldn't be so bad if you weren't capped at 9999 coins.
Persephone is a pretty easy soul to get too, you often get it without trying to. :P
Obviously, I may have it for all I know.
