Twitter is more of an infestation. Tumblr is a containment chamber.

Don't be petty because you think orange man bad. Twitter and social media in general are pretty rotten for our society. Granted it does let others connect with artists and developers but that's why we have webpages dedicated to these types of things. Twitter as a platform now is unpredictable. Make a slipup on twitter? You get spammed with screenshots of your mistake(s) and harassed to oblivion. Tumblr is no different.

Twitter has become such a shitshow, going all out to ban people for "political wrongthink" amongst other things, instead of remaining a neutral platform. Tumblr isn't fairing much better with shitty moderation and instead of addressing the issues, which has the capacity to do so, simply chooses to do the direct opposite. You would wake up tomorrow and your tumblr deleted. No rhyme, no reason, just poof.
