the story before this one is the pirate king's slave telling the story of how the Old Prince and the first slave met and continues the themes of rulership and slavery that this one has

Sefia's 6-part story also takes place in this setting, although it's an older story so not everything is consistent with current worldbuilding, but the story itself remains possibly the best thing i've ever written, and deals with a blind, quadruple-amputee sex-slave and her (very poor) attempts at recovering after being rescued
