Computer is dying and I'm freaking out
I just almost lost everything on my harddrive, thank God my brother was able to get it started properly, going to have to back everything up. I have like 100 dollars to my name right now and have no idea how I'm going to get enough money to replace it
Ahhhhhh
Ahhhhhh
FA+

I'd offer one of my spares, but the only one I have that's a decent size is missing along with my external drive bay -.-
It bluescreened and the motherboard couldnt find the harddrive, and its not just the fact of replacing it, it would be like the past 2 years of art would be gone, i havent backed up my art in awhile (doing it now, 99gb downloading right now lol)
Bluescreen plus disappearing HD points to probably bad sectors on the drive. Not much to be done there, other than what you're already doing. Might want to get a can of compressed air and try blowing out the dust from the innards of the case. Just need to pop the cover open and give it a good shot from the air can, don't need to touch anything inside. Make sure you've got good ventilation in the room, this WILL create one heckuva dust cloud.
thank you for the advice though!
...and why does it have to do this at 99GB? Couldn't it've waited until you got to an even 100GB?
and yeah ikr so close, its like when you get a 99 on your test
...not to rub it in, but the 3DS I'm using right now turned 7 years old 8 days ago and is still going strong. Kinda strange how this little thing is outliving a big, powerful PC, isn't it?
you might also be getting bad buzz from your outlet and that is fucking with ur parts. (i hope u got ur computer on a good power surge protector)
your hdd needs to be replaced asap if its making that noise but after you do all that check to make sure your ram is still functioning and not fried. if ur ram is bad it might be whats causing ur motherboard to not recognize ur hdd
