Terms of Service

General
~ By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my T.O.S
~ I offer commissions for private/personal use only. Commissioners cannot resell my artwork in any way, shape, or form, ex. prints, merchandise, NFTs, ect.
~ Professionalism is important. Small talk is alright, but please do not expect me to have conversations unrelated to our project
~ I require your PayPal email address
~ Please have a reference image of your character! Traditional references are fine, as long as they're relatively clear, and you have a colour reference
~ Custom characters without any image refs may have an extra charge
~ Feel free to include any photo references for characters, clothing, props, moods and poses necessary! Otherwise, please be detailed about what you'd like to see.
~ I won't do multiple completely different sketches if you have trouble deciding on what you'd like. Please be very clear before I start sketching! Edits that don't change the whole piece entirely are okay.
~ I don't begin rendering until the sketch is approved
~ Extra versions will have a $7 CAD charge (different colour/slight line change versions of the same picture)
~ **SAVE THE FINISHED ARTWORK WHEN I SEND IT TO YOU!** I clean out my dropbox every so often, so ALL dropbox files/links are temporary.

Process and Turnaround
~ I only start working after full payment or partial payment
~ Communication must occur at a reasonable pace. If you are sent an invoice and do not fulfill it within a week (unless agreed upon otherwise), I will cancel the commission
~ With partial payment, I will not start working on the final rendering until paid in full, but will still produce sketches.
~ After I send you the first WIP, you can make any edits you'd like. There is a maximum of 3 passes.
~ After you approve the sketch, there will be no more edits, unless it is the fault of the artist. If you'd like to make an edit after a piece is finished, there is a $7 CAD charge
~ My turnaround time varies. Life can get in the way. I usually take 1-3 weeks, depending on project
~ I can email final pieces upon request

Payment and Refunds
~ I only accept PayPal
~ My prices are always in CAD
~ Refunds depend on how much work was done. Once the piece is finished, artwork is non-refundable.
~ Wings, complex characters, and props might require an extra charge. Ask if you're not sure!

Artist's Rights
~ I can cancel a commission at any time, for any reason. Refund will be issued depending on amount of work completed.
~ I retain full rights to the image (not the characters depicted in the image, just the art). I reserve the right to post, distribute, copy, and reproduce the commissioned work, for commercial, promotional, or personal purposes. If you have specified you do not want your work posted, I will not use it for promotional use. However, I retain the right to post it in my gallery.
~ I am not obligated to post your commission

Commissioner Rights
~ You may cancel a commission at any time before completion. (See Refund section)
~ All commission inquiries will be confidential, but I usually tag the commissioner when posting artwork. Please specify if you would rather remain anonymous if the artwork is posted online.
~ You are free to post any commission done for you to a personal/public gallery so long as credit is provided.
~ You may crop or edit the art done for you to use in icons, banners, etc. as long as you do not take credit for the work. For example, if you are using it as an icon you are not required to write credit in your bio, but you cannot claim the artwork as yours
~ You have permission to make prints/copies of the image so long as it is for personal use only and no profit is made.
~ You may make edits to the final work yourself, SO LONG AS you do not take credit for the whole piece. Ex. text edits on top of a finished piece is fine, but drawing on top of my work and claiming it as yours is not.
~ You MAY NOT sell the work or copies of the work you commission from me, unless you are selling it along with an original character and other pieces of art. In which case, my terms of service still apply to the new owner of the character.
~ You may NOT affiliate my art with any NFTs in any way.
~ You may NOT remove my signature or watermark in any way.

Raffle Rules
~ Since the piece is free, all rights belong to me
~ You may repost the work, as long as it is watermarked, and proper credit is given
~ Raffle prizes may not be sold, printed, copied, or edited, unless given permission by myself
~ I retain the right to edit, distribute, and post the piece elsewhere

What I will not draw
~ ANYTHING for NFTs. Don't even ask.
~ Robots/Cars/Guns*
~ Babyfur
~ Pedophilia
~ ANY underage character in NSFW conditions
~ NSFW
~ Hateful images (transphobia, homophobia, racism etc.)

* Only sketches or mechanical arms/legs. Will not do full robots/cars/guns lined
