Unfortunately Weasyl is still pretty inactive, from my perspective at least. I just may also head to DA as well.
You rarely get any comments on Weasyl.

I’ve gotten more attention on Pixiv than I have on Weasyl; it’s not a bad site but the community just isn’t there. Inkbunny is probably your next best bet IMO; DA is really oversaturated and Tumblr is huge RIP status. Of course if you use PostyBirb you can post pretty much everywhere you want to at once, so it’s really just a matter of where you want to have a presence as opposed to how much time you want to spend uploading.

I have a Weasyl account, but it's soooo dead there. :(

I used to really urge people there when I could, but after years on it I'm just... not able to anymore in good faith orz
the site isn't bad, great in some aspects, but it's pretty radio silent as far as community goes, and nothing looks to be in place to change that from the site runners themselves?

I'd still be happy to follow if you go for it! I think it comes down to how many sites you're willing to keep up to date...

An artsite won't grow if no one puts effort into it. Weasyl is small, but no one wants to put in any effort to help it grow.
I've been using the darn thing actively the last year now, and am going to continue using it even though
I constantly see people Jumping in, Throwing their art on in a single day, then writing a journal about
how they decide they won't be active there anymore.

I get comments from those who pass by. I get watches from people who see me. But more importantly,
I'm also commenting and faving and showing I'm active as well so that people know I'm not a waste of their time.

I main FA, DA, Inkbunny, and Weasyl.

thats fair, i did use it for 2 years consistently but i left it due to little/no activity but i could try again..
