Hm, well what aren't you understanding about them? There basically copied off the mythical creature known as the centaur. But made into Furry. There's really no story or reason behind it. They just look really cool. (:

i just dont get what is attractive about being any type of taur centaur or otherwise..
i understand feral characters and anthro characters but taurs just baffle me.. i dont get the draw..
it just seems alien i cant picture myself as it or even enjoying it if i was..
i usually understand stuff like that.. but yeah.. im confused..
and ive been a fur for a long time and taurs have always seemed odd to me

I'll admit, when I first started seeing them I thought they were weird, too. But after being apart of the fandom, playing Second Life, and watching movies like Narnia, they became really cool and interesting creatures to me. Just like gryphons. No one understands them, either. Originally half bird, and feline. But people are changing them around and making other cool combinations.

Anthro's have human characteristics such as walking and talking. Some people decided to have their characters with more animal characteristics, and have a feral body.

ooh i love gryphons i get them lots.. and your right the centaurs in nernia were awesome... i like regular centaures i guess its the anthro taurs i dont get cause the part im used to being human isnt.
i guess thats the part i need to get used to.. pehaps i'll use my character for some taur art..
