Bit of an Update

So busy week for me so far. Drove down to Raleigh, NC on Thursday to pick up my dad's girlfriend as well as a place to get my dad cremated.
Drove back up to Pittsburgh tonight as the drive from Raleigh, NC to Rochester, NY is about 13 hours. So stopped back my place to crash for the night.
Now to finish the drive up to Rochester tomorrow.
Once there, see everyone, watch a shit ton of people cry.
Now at this point, I have no idea what my dad's girlfriend is going to do. She needs to make it back down to Raleigh and I fear it's gonna have to be me.
She wants to stay up in Rochester for the rest of the month as she at least wanted to be with familiar faces for Christmas, which I get but everyone is calling or texting me on the side going, "I can't have her stay at my place for a month etc."
So who the fuck knows. Everyone is putting themselves between a rock and a hard place cause they don't want to tell her know as she is still devastated from my dad's passing but at the same time they're promising too much and now regretting what they said.
And for some reason, everyone is asking me to figure all this out.

And of course, entire family does the whole, "Let us know what we can do to help, except on finances". So cremation is all going to be out of my pocket.
