So that’s it. I’m officially graduated. I have a degree.

Commissions are OPEN
If you are interested in commissioning me, come drop me a line! Let's see what we can make together! https://forms.gle/rWtK2fLXYUkNzPvo8 Just got home from my graduation ceremony, and I’m officially now a holder of my Bachelor of Science in Illustration. I even got a gold tassel to honour that I achieved the highest honour roll 4.0 GPA.
I...I really don’t know what to say or how to feel right now. I’m currently an emotional wreck but I don’t feel capable of really showing the emotions I feel.
So what’s next? Well, I’m taking a week off. I’m taking a week off to do nothing for the first time in four long fucking years. After that week, I’m open for commissions full time again, and this time, I’ll be able to devote the time necessary to you guys that you really deserve, rather than just getting things done when I can. I have a current queue of three items, and those are first on my list, but after that, I’m all yours for whatever you want. :)

Enjoy that week off, you totally deserve it.
I'll hang my gold tassel from it too :P
I like your art, and I do believe with time you'll get where you want to be. :)
https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/c.....otc_in_a_near/ for example, crticisms about the readability of the art at a glance (Ajani doesn't pop out as much, and the composition doesn't quite work for a card), the colors, etc...
https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/c.....m_an_aspiring/ has a comment by /u/endblink that I think is fantastic advice for anyone looking to work in the field.
https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/c.....inions_on_art/ top comment has a passing comment about what Wizards looks for in their artwork, and tips to reach it.
https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/c.....dback_id_love/ some comments about how Wizards prefers sharp lines over fades. Some other general comments as well. This one stuck out in my memory and took a while to find it, but I thought it had some good advice in it.
https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/c....._for_feedback/ has some feedback in the comments, one in particular shows the original art for Liliana of the Veil and the artwork that actually got printed on the card. The original art is so busy and the detail gets lost once printed on a small card.
