hey folks, writing comms are still open, but I think there's going to be a price hike, unfortunately
2 cents per word, as opposed to the original 1 cent - mostly 'cause I spend a good amount of time with each piece, and I'd like to keep giving what I do write the attention it deserves!

I think this is a good idea. I've been talking with several of my other writer friends about exactly the same thing and i plan to raise my prices as such after i'm done with my current commission as well. Writing especially in the furry community is wildly underpriced even considering how cheap furry artists and writers do EVERYTHING, but i feel like the price of written works is even cheaper and more inconsistant. I'd love if furry writers across the board were able to set a standard minimum price so that every writer charged AT LEAST 2 cents a word

the big problem is that readership isn't nearly as big of a thing as viewership, so with writing comms, it's kind of a race to the bottom - but, among a few other things, it was a post that you made on twitter a while back that made me consider the idea in the first place
