If I may suggest something. Work on solving your own emotional issues first —we all have them. So put the effort to become what you could be, a better version of yourself; then when you are in the right path to that "place", it will be slightly easier to find someone who you can be compatible with, because less things will "blind you" to see what is there around you. And hopefully you and that someone will manage to love each other, not for what "you are" but for what "you could be". This will allow both of you two "grow up", become better and support each other. This will be a healthy relationship. And that's why it is HARD to find a mate. But great things are never easy.
Honestly, I think I’d be fine in terms of emotions and being good to the person. I mean we all have our demons, but I figure it should be fine if I communicate those feelings openly to them. I see myself being a little clingy too actually. lol
The hardest part I think for me overall would be just meeting someone. XD
it can be but recently i have been looking for people that meet a criteria.
1. they are single
2. they work any kind of job or are attending some kind of school/training
3. being furry is a plus
4. living in the same state
5. we get along well.
thats what i looked for and i found my mate. note i wasn't really looking to find them. in all honesty after my first relationship fell apart i just decided to make myself happy by myself. i just say dont rush and let things happen naturally, but when you do find the "one" don't be shy to pursue that relationship^^
Yeah, my criteria’s in a similar direction, and it’d be nice if I met someone naturally.
I’m open-minded about it though, like they don’t have to be thin with muscles or a cute blonde (it’s a plus though! lol), but that it’s clear they care about their appearence, ya know?
I used to go after love and try to find someone since middle school to no avail no matter how many crushes that i decided to just let love handle it.
Love works in mysterious ways and is unpredictable. When I met my boyfriend a few years back, he was the least person I'd think in falling in love with as i saw him as a bets friend and surrogate "brother". Then over time I got to know him more and slowly feel in love with him, to the point that there were even some past events that put it to the test if the "friendship was real" or it showed one's true colors. Then i just went for it and told him my feelings for him and he replied back, and we've been together ever since.
My point is, there's no such thing as love as first sight in my POV. Love is tricky and you should get to know someone with proper time and see how he/she'll make you feel, then let love guide ya
