Merry Christmas and a life update

Hey guys. I just wanted to take this time to say happy holidays! Hope you guys have a good one this year.
So this year end has been sort of crazy. My practicum teaching went great though and I made some really good connections. Next semester is gonna be brutal though as it's five days a week 8 hours+ a day in the classroom, plus seminar, portfolio, and a final full graduate glass before I graduate in May. So one last semester guys WOOT! Gonna be crazy but the end is in sight. *Deep breath*
This is where it gets weird. The teacher I was going to be placed under to work with bailed at the last minuet because, of all things, he has suddenly decided he is going to change his sex. Hey more power to him, but why accept me as a studdent teacher then bail in December less than a month before I start! So my department head and I are scrambling. I had to go to the most nerve racking interview I have ever had two days ago as they found me another school to work in but for some reason they interview student teachers? And this interview...so, I was sat in a little room with five administrators and having rapid fire hardball questions thrown at me. They wanted five copies of my resume and references and acted like I needed to have years of teaching experience, then also had me take a multiple choice test that was pages long all about selecting obscure morality based and judgement based answers to see if my core values and beliefs aligned to theirs. It was fucking bizarre. So my department head and I decided to keep looking elsewhere, so I'm basically in limbo there LOL.
Living situation hasn't really changed. Things with my room-mate/ex have gotten a lot more crazy and bizarre as well. I can't write more as he can and likely will read this, but suffice it to say, the only reason I am still here is the fact that moving is not something I want to do during final practicum a student teaching.
So that's all my crazy, now for the good. My mom is flying in to visit. We both agreed that it needed to be just us this year for, um, previously mentioned reasons, er, and because we haven't had just a family holiday in years. We were going to take a trip but with everything in limbo like this it just isn't possible, so She's coming here. We are staying in the city at an airb&b so that we can stay away from the drama and just enjoy the holidays. She's staying through my b-day so that'll be nice.
I'm working on stuff and it is coming but with so much juggling, it's been slow. I hope to have something to show you guys that's comic related soon. Have a great and hopefully stress free holiday guys.
