Sounds like one of hell of a project. Depending on your release schedule it might get incredibly taxing as well since you wouldn't be able to rely on a backlog.

I mean, I'd certainly watch it, but I really wouldn't want you exhausting yourself over it!

I don't think it'd be a good idea, mostly because youtube isn't the best platform atm, here's just a few of the reasons:
- because of smf's design, you can forget about having the video recommended
- youtube bots will almost certainly flag it for no reason
- it could get flagged because one s.o.b finds it "offensive"

Sounds like a good way to keep up the flow and allow us to see updates as time goes on. Youtube may not be the best platform, but there are other video hosting sites that would be more tolerant for your updates. and yeah, it may not be the burn out, but I could imagine rendering those animations, voicing them, etc will eat up most of the time for more regular schedules. Still you can try to do more miniature animations and clips, like shorts to pass the time while working on major releases. Like weekly clips and then a full episode every 3 months perhaps?

Sounds like a nice experiment. If you got the time and money to do this then yeah, go for it.
