I've added my commission queue to my profile in order to show the status of commissions. Admittedly transparency has never been an issue for me and my customers since I keep my work list small to start, HOWEVER I don't see an issue with me adding it since it'll add some level of reassurance for new customers.
Work list will show the date the commission was paid for, a link to the commission order itself (ych post usually) and where its current status is at when a good amount of work is done. The list also only shows orders paid for, so if your order hasn't been confirmed on my end or if you haven't paid the invoice there it will not show up.
Also I've been doing this for a while but I don't do commission work on weekends. I'm always at my boyfriends house and despite attempts at trying to work at his place, I somehow would get less done and give up until I got home.
If something dire comes up however I can always be messaged and I will see and reply to it if it needs immediate attention
